This policy describes the personal information collected by michaeltminer.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Michael T Publications, LLC, an independent publishing imprint based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What is collected

The site collects only the information you choose to submit through the contact form (your name, email address, optional phone number, message, and topic selection). The form is processed by FormSubmit, which forwards messages directly to [email protected].

Analytics and cookies

The site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand, in aggregate, which essays and books readers spend time with. No personally identifying information is collected through these tools. By default they run in a privacy-preserving, cookieless mode: your IP address is anonymized, no advertising or cross-site identifiers are used, and no cookies are stored on your device. If you accept analytics cookies through the cookie banner, a small number of first-party cookies are set to measure return visits more accurately. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymized interactions such as clicks and scrolls to produce aggregate heatmaps; it does not capture the contents of form fields.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics are disabled entirely and neither tool loads.

How it is used

Information you submit is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Your email address is not shared with third parties, sold, rented, or used for unsolicited marketing.

Substack

If you choose to subscribe to the newsletter via the Substack widget on the blog page, your email address is collected and managed by Substack under their own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time directly from any email Substack sends.

Outbound links

Links to retailers (Amazon and others) and to Substack are provided for convenience. Those services have their own privacy policies and cookies. This site is not responsible for the practices of third parties.

Your choices

You can manage analytics cookies at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. To request a copy of, or deletion of, any personal information you have submitted, write to [email protected]. Requests are honored within a reasonable time.
