Accessibility statement.

This site is built and maintained with accessibility as a primary concern. The intent is to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across all pages.

Measures taken

• Semantic HTML5 with landmarks (header, main, nav, aside, footer) on every page.
• Skip-to-content link present on every page.
• Color contrast checked against WCAG AA targets (4.5:1 for body, 3:1 for large text).
• Keyboard navigability for every interactive element. Visible focus rings.
• Honoring prefers-reduced-motion for all transitions and scroll-triggered effects.
• Form labels are explicitly associated with inputs; error messages are not color-only.
• Touch targets are minimum 44 × 44 pixels.

Known limitations

Book covers and the author headshot currently use placeholder graphics that will be replaced with the real artwork before public launch. Decorative SVG cover graphics include alt text. Substack-embedded content on the newsletter page is provided by Substack and follows their accessibility practices.
